It was Mrs. Maria Pia Lepanto’s wish. An olive tree, from Bethlehem, was to be planted in the crater left by the explosion that killed her son Judge Paolo Borsellino. Her dream became reality thanks to the solidarity of the Palestinian and Israeli Women in Black Peace Movement, to the Arab Community, to the Salesian Cremisan Community, to the Italian Diplomatic Representatives in Jerusalem as well as the NGOs Ciss and Cocis of Jerusalem.
